Download ebooks and audiobooks from the Ohio Digital LibraryLearn how to Get Started with device specific information. Enjoy eBooks, audiobooks, and videos on your computer, phone, tablet or iPod. Easy to use, no late fees, and available 24/7. There are free apps for Windows, apple products, and android devices. The Libby OverDrive app is available at the Google PlayStore for Android devices and the App Store for iOS devices. If you use a Kindle, you will still need the OverDrive app. Need further assistance, just call us (897-4826) and set up an appointment or get answers on the phone. All you need is your Mary L. Cook Public Library card number to check out.

**If you want to remove "mature" content from your view in The Ohio Digital Library, sign in and go to your account.  You may set your settings to "general adult" as the upper limit to conceal "mature adult" material from view. If you just want to view "general adult" material, make your settings "general adult" to "general adult."


Hoopla get free streaming movies, tv shows music and audiobooksHoopla provides instant access to movies, television shows, music albums, and audiobooks to view and listen to on your computer, laptop, or mobile device. To create an account, go to  (or just click on the icon) and sign up using your library card. Each cardholder can check out 15 titles per month. There is no waiting. All material is available 24/7. Audiobooks and music albums check out for 21 days, movies check out for 3 days, and television episodes check out for 2 days.  In Settings, there is a Kids Mode that is a discovery tool to find family-appropriate content. hoopla is now available on Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, and Roku devices—library patrons can stream movies and television directly onto their big screens! Apple TV also allows streaming of audiobooks and music. Learn more about each of the devices here. Offering Digital Magazines for reading and viewing on your computer, tablet or mobile device. Some of the most popular magazines (Consumer Reports, Consumer Reports Buying Guide, People, Cooking Light, Discover, Good Housekeeping, Country Living, Do It Yourself, Ohio Magazine, US Weekly, Food Network, Redbook, HGTV, National Geographic Kids, Prevention, Woman's Day, Real Simple and Wired) are now available to you with Flipster. You will need your library card number and your PIN to access Flipster. Both current and back issues of the magazines are available. If you wish to download an issue to your device, you will need the appropriate Flipster app for the iPad, Android or KindleFire (Generations 3 and 4) -- see the 'Help' section on the Flipster website. When using the Flipster app, you will select the Mary L. Cook Public Library. Then to log in, you must use mlcook followed by your library card number. (Example: mlcook11111). There are unlimited checkouts and no due dates or fines. Just go to the Flipster website and start reading.
