Mary L. Cook Public Library Teacher Registration
A Teacher/Educator's card is available to verified educators and homeschoolers. This card is in addition to the teacher/educator's personal card. Both cards must be in good standing (no blocks or charges over $10). The card allows the patron to borrow materials for six weeks; older DVDs are loaned for one week. Limit of 50 items per card.
To qualify for a Teacher/Educator's Card, the Library may require proof of employment in a school or, for homeschoolers, a letter from the appropriate authority.
Teachers who have a Teacher/Educator's card may request a collection of materials on a particular topic or subject area by completing a Teacher Collection Form or by emailing Kathleen Welch at welchka@marylcook.com. Items may also be reserved online at www.mlcook.lib.oh.us, subject to review . We reserve the right to limit the number of teacher checkouts in a particular topic or subject to maintain a selection for other patrons. Please allow at least two days to process this request. Teachers will receive a phone call when the items are ready for pickup.
The individual borrowing the materials is personally responsible for return of the items, damages or replacement costs that may be incurred.
