Do you have a relative who was part of the Civilian Conservation Corps? Also known as "The Dollar a Day Boys", these young men constructed and upgraded many state and national parks, as well as participating in other public projects from 1933-1942. This provided jobs to millions of underemployed youth during the Great Depression era. Bill Jamerson will be portraying an entertaining and informative look at life through the eyes of a CCC worker. We are fortunate to have Mr. Jamerson here Friday, March 14th at 1pm. This would make an excellent American History lesson tie-in.
