ADULTS Living Zen Series with Rev. Beckett Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00 to 11:30 am Join Rev. Beckett of the Still Mind Zen Fellowship for a new series titled “Living Zen.” Each month, Rev. Beckett will focus on a different specialized topic to help you navigate and practice Zen in everyday life. This month Rev. Beckett will discuss:"The 3 Mind States You Need to Cultivate Happiness". Building Brain-Healthy Habits (Alzheimer's Association of Greater Cincinnati) Saturday, May 2nd and May 9th from 10:30 to 11:30 am Join us and the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Cincinnati for a three-part series, where we will discuss how Alzheimer's Disease causes changes in memory and thinking, typical age-related changes, common warning signs, and lifestyle changes that can improve cognition as we age. Take and Make: Miniature Macrame Plant Hanger (age 11 - adult) Each kit will come with a cord and instructions so you can make a miniature plant hanger! Pick up will begin on Monday, May 4th - available while supplies last. Rootfinders Rootfinders genealogy group will meet Saturday, May 9th at 10 am. All are welcome. The Loop Group Monday, May 11th and Tuesday, May 26th A club where threads meet friends and creativity never unravels. Meetings are held on the second Monday and fourth Tuesday of every month from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Registration is not required to attend this program, which is open to anyone interested in fiber arts. The group is led by two knowledgeable staff members who specialize in crocheting and knitting. They will be available to answer questions and provide troubleshooting assistance as time permits. If a participant is under the age of 18, they are required to have a caregiver present during the meeting. Genre Exploration Book Club We will be meeting on Tuesday, May 19th at 5:30 pm to discuss the book '"The Ministry of Time" by Kaliane Bradley. Registration for this book club is closed.
