MLCPL Quaranzine

MLCPL Quaranzine: Call for Submissions

What is Quaranzine?

A zine for quarantine times! A zine is a small DIY publication of original art, writing, photography, or found material collages. This small online publication will feature art and writing by the Mary L. Cook Public Library community and will be accessible through the Library’s website and social media outlets.

Rolling Submissions

The Library is accepting rolling submissions to Quaranzine, a collection of creative works from our community that document how we responded to life in quarantine.

All ages are welcome and encouraged to submit work; content should be appropriate for a wide audience.

Submissions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Art
  • Writing: essays, poetry, fiction, lists, reviews, etc (500 words or fewer)
  • Visual tutorials
  • Comics
  • Photography
  • Recipes

We are unable to accept audio or video formats.
