Come to the library on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 6 pm to hear naturalist Bill Lindauer explain how to do the annual bird count at Hisey Park or in your own backyard. Hisey Park will host a Bird Count on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 10 am to 4 pm, or Sunday, Feb. 18 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Help create an official bird count for the Cornell lab of Ornithology, make nutritious "zick suet" bird food, learn to identify common Ohio birds, check out the Old Hisey farmhouse, and relax with hot chocolate, coffee, and snacks.
