The Adult Writers Group is starting up again! Join host Jen Martin on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM in the Ohioana Room of the library. This month they will meet on June 6th. If you would enjoy learning more about writing, journaling, or blogging, be sure to attend. Just show up - no registration is necessary.
Do you need to share your love of books with others? Then join the library’s Adult Book Club! The book club meets every other Tuesday at 1 PM, in the Atrium and new members are always welcome to join. This month the club meets June 12 and June 26th. For all you gardeners, The Warren County Master Gardeners will be giving a class on “Hypertufa” on Tuesday night, June 19 at 7 PM. Hypertufa is an artificial stone recipe for making pots, troughs, planters and spheres, etc for potting and garden art. No registration is necessary. If you come, you can enter the raffle for a Hypertufa container. The class will be held outside and if the weather isn’t cooperating, the rain date is the following Tuesday, June 26th.
History buffs!! The Waynesville Underground Railroad Committee (W.U.R.C.) is looking for volunteers, local historians and anyone that can help with putting together the history of the Underground Railroad in the Waynesville area! WURC meets at the library the third Monday of each month, which is June 18th this month, at 11 AM. Contact Linda Swartzel at the library for more information at 513-897-4826.
Local quilters meet in the Ohioana room each Wednesday from 10 to noon. If you are interested in joining the group, please come to their next meeting!
The Rootfinders genealogy group is taking a summer vacation - programs will begin again in September.

Get a Clue each Wednesday!
Bring your treasure card to the library each Wednesday, any time from
9am – 8pm, beginning June 13th. Go to the front desk and ask for a clue. This clue will ask you to find something in the library. Once you have found the answer return to the front desk to have your treasure card stamped!
We will have a different clue for you to solve each week (June 13th – July 18th).
Book Buddies - returning this summer!
This free enrichment program has been created to help young children (entering grades 1-3) to enhance their reading skills. The Book Buddies will meet for 30 minute sessions on Monday evenings, June 11, June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9, and July 16. All sessions will begin at 6:45pm and will last 30 minutes. Applications available at library beginning June 1st.

Bean pole teepee!
*Rain date for this program is Thursday, June 14th 6:45pm – 7:15pm
Help the master gardeners build and plant a bean pole teepee here at the library. The children will take home bean seeds to start a teepee in their yard.
